CSUCI scholarships : Our University offers scholarships based on academic merit and financial need. Apply or review the on campus scholarships.
CSUCI off campus scholarship offers a list of scholarships that are local as well as national.
: These scholarships are grouped by major and available to undergraduates and graduate students. Areas include Agriculture, Arts (creative writing, music, art education), business/career preparation, health, teaching/education, and STEM. Awards can range from $500 to $10,000. Some scholarships have special requirements, such as studying nursing and being a single parent (Schuler Scholarship). Most require students to be Ventura County residents. Few (like the Merfeld Family foundation Scholarship) prefer students from southern California counties or from the state of Iowa.

- Provides an award of $3000 to each scholar to visit UC and doctoral-granting institutions. The purpose is to enable current students to explore and prepare to succeed in doctoral programs in their chosen field of study.
Application period: December to Mid Feb- Required to meet with the California Pre-Doctoral Coordinator on CI campus (Sara Alcala)
- Qualifications: Junior, Senior, Grad students in CSU; show promise to succeed in graduate school (academic excellence) while experiencing economic or educational disadvantage; show commitment to a career in teaching and research at the college or university level; enrolled on CSU campus

Teaching Grants and Fellowships
. Award from $500 to $5000, including matching funds from university. Renewable up to four years. Applications open in December every year.
: for students considering a teaching credential and career in California. Grant prioritizes students teaching in a "high-need field" (special education), and at priority schools. To apply, you must send an email to goldenstateteachers@csac.ca.gov.
: this grant provides up to $4,000 a year to students who are completing or plan to complete course work needed to being a career in teaching in schools that serve low-income students. Grant recipients must agree to serve for four years.
