Hello, my name is Lizbeth. I am a fourth-year student and lead ambassador here at Cal State Channel Islands! I am a local student from Oxnard and I am pursuing my degree in Health Science. I chose Cal State Channel Islands because of how welcoming everyone is and the beautiful landscape. I love that there are many quiet study areas on campus. Fun facts about me are that I enjoy going on nearby hikes and painting by the beach, which is about 10 minutes away.

Hi everyone, my name is Fatima, and I am a transfer student from Oxnard College. I am a mathematics major with an emphasis in education, aiming to become a high school math teacher. I chose Cal State Channel Islands because of their support and resources for first-generation students. I appreciate that Cal State Channel Islands provides hands-on learning opportunities, helping me develop the skills that I will need in the future. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, listening to music, reading books, or watching TV shows or movies.
